Introduction

Stronghold is my main machine. I use eCS 2.0 on this computer (and no, not a virtual machine). For the most part everything works perfect except what I have noted below:

Issues to be fixed

  • Sound in Windows 3.11See my review here! - Fixed by 01-09-11

  • Internet goes out after exactly 30 minutes. This happened last time I had eCS 2.0 on my computer. I fixed it though but on this reinstall the problem came back and I have not been able to get it working again. The only way I can fix it is by rebooting, one odd thing though is that my IRC client will still work after 30 min(!). This is by far my biggest issue.

  • Printer is not setup yet (connected to USB). Need to install CUPS – Installed, took just a little work but I'm printing like a pro...or something. See my review here! - Fixed 01-22-11

  • IRQ load spikes and the computer needs to be rebooted on start up, but only once out of ten boot ups. Not sure why and I need to look into this.
